ZONA PRIANGAN - Nomadland adalah pemenang akbar di Oscar 2021, membawa pulang penghargaan terbanyak (tiga) termasuk Best Picture, Best Director (untuk Chloé Zhao), dan Best Actress (Frances McDormand).
Dikutip dari NDTV, pemenang Oscar 2021 tersebar secara adil, dengan enam film masing-masing meraih dua hadiah: The Father (untuk kategori Best Actor diraih oleh Anthony Hopkins dan Best Adapted Screenplay), Judas and the Black Messiah (termasuk untuk kategori Best Supporting Actor yang diraih oleh Daniel Kaluuya), Black Bottom Ma Rainey, drama Hollywood lama David Fincher Mank (termasuk Best Cinematography), Pixar's Soul (termasuk Best Animated Feature Film), dan Amazon's Sound of Metal (termasuk Best Film Editing and Best Sound).
Di antara studio, Netflix adalah pemenang utama di Oscar 2021 dengan tujuh penghargaan tetapi tidak ada dari kemenangan itu yang masuk dalam kategori besar tradisional mana pun.

Faktanya adalah Disney, berkat Nomadland meraih tiga dari empat besar (Picture, Director, Actor dan Actress).
Warner Bros. (tiga untuk Tenet, Judas and Black Messiah) adalah yang berikutnya, lalu Sony Pictures (The Father) dan Amazon Studios (Sound of Metal) masing-masing mengumpulkan dua kategori. Mank Netflix masuk nominasi terbanyak yakni 10 nominias, tetapi gagal pada akhirnya.
